Hi,
I'm planning to attend this conference, too. It might be interesting to meet there.
Adrian.
Thats great Adrian

- I wiill arrive Sunday evening, but will not be staying in the Marriot.
The schedule is complete everyday with speakers back to back. During the short 15 min. breaks & lunch would be great time to chat. I myself was wondering why none of the sponsors were not sponsoring a Monday evening get together... but we can arrange something ourselves?

12:30 - 13:15 pm Contactless Cards or Mobile Phones? Collaborative Business Models That Capture the Prize
Contactless technology is beginning to make low value payment transactions possible in an economically viable manner. There is, however, a significant hurdle to making contactless low-value payments via the mobile phone a reality: the lack of agreement on a business model. Banks fear that mobile providers will take market share away from them while mobile providers are concerned that banks will leverage their existing payments infrastructure and expertise to grab the lion’s share of this emerging market. It is easy to overlook the numerous ways in which collaboration in key areas can further advance the market objectives of both industries beyond the “go-it-alone” model. This session will present some compelling business models that illustrate how collaboration versus head-to-head competition is a superior route to early success and sustainable market share — proving the prize is large enough for all.
Samee Zafar, Director, Edgar, Dunn & Company
